TELCEL – CHRISTMAS CAMPAIGN (AR+VR)
CHALLENGE: Telcel (América Móvil), the 9th largest Telecom Company in the World (http://www.investopedia.com/articles/markets/030216/worlds-top-10-telecommunications-companies.asp) commissioned Spinar with their Christmas Campaign. The idea was to use the latest technologies (AR, VR, Facial Tracking) in a Campaign with their mascot as the center piece, a charismatic moose named Renato, and give children (and adults) a new way to interact with him.
SOLUTION: Spinar created 2 mobile Apps (one with AR, another one with VR) and an interactive Virtual Mirror.
· The AR App named “Renato Mágico” (available only for Android), made Renato appear from 4 different squared Christmas ornaments, that were given away at Shopping Malls across Mexico City. Each one of the fours ornaments Video
· The VR App named “El Trineo de Renato” (available only for Android and compatible with Cardboards), made you feel like Renato riding a sleigh down a hill, with 3 different courses (easy, medium and hard). By tilting your head left and right, you can control the direction of the sleigh going down the hill and earn prizes. Video
· The Virtual Mirror had a facial detection software that super imposed elements of Renato’s animated face on to the person’s face. Video

PEPSI THROUGH THE AGES – AR EXPERIENCE
CHALLENGE: Pepsi produces an annual event for its Top 200 North America partners to demonstrate its market leadership and new technology vision. Augmented Reality (AR) using HUD (head mounted display) was selected as a dynamic method and hardware for the occasion.
Spinar was chosen to develop the creative software for the event and employed Epson Moverio BT 200 as the most effective hardware for execution. Spinar conceived and developed the idea of ‘Pepsi Through the Ages’ using Pepsi selected iconic images from the 1940’s to present. Wearing the BT 200 Pepsi partners focused the viewer headset on a Pepsi can and with finger swipes 80 years of Pepsi Marketing Campaigns images appeared in AR.
METROCARRIER SPACE VR
MetroCarrier, líder en servicios de Internet en México, solicitó a Spinar crear una “Experiencia en el espacio exterior” para sus clientes con Realidad Virtual (VR).
Razón por la cuál Spinar creó una experiencia de Realidad Virtual (VR) inmersiva basada en la superficie de la Luna, con servidores MetroCarrier y teletransportación a sus oficinas físicas en Guadalajara, Jalisco.
